How do rooms work?

A room is a teacher's classroom: feed, courses, events, recordings, AI Coach, member roster — all scoped to that teacher. You join as many as your tier allows.

How does the feed work?

Each room has a feed. Anyone in the room can post (some categories are teacher-only). React, comment, follow threads. Posts are markdown-formatted, support images and links, and surface in the master board across rooms.

How do direct messages work?

Open Messages to see your inbox. To DM someone, you both need to be following each other first. Once mutual, you can start a 1-on-1 or group DM (up to 8 per group). Messages are realtime and support images, links, blocking, and reporting.

How do courses and lessons work?

Each room has a Courses tab. Enroll → progress through lessons → optional quizzes → certificate at the end. Five lesson types: video, text, audio, PDF, quiz. Some courses are drip-fed (one lesson per day or week).

How do live events and the calendar work?

Each room has an Events tab with a calendar. RSVP to events, get reminders, and join the live meeting when it starts. Past events become recordings (Junkies Plus and above).

How do I join a live meeting?

From the event page or dashboard, click Join Live within the event window. Test your mic and camera in the green room first. Sessions auto-record and the recording shows up in the room library afterward.

How do recordings and per-recording purchases work?

Recordings live in each room's Recordings tab. Junkies Plus and above watch the full library free. Below that, individual recordings can be purchased for a one-time fee — or unlocked by spending points.

How does the AI Coach work?

Each room has its own AI Coach trained on that room's posts, courses, and recordings. Open the coach panel from inside any room and ask a question. The coach cites sources and respects daily message limits.

How do points, levels, streaks, and badges work?

Earn points by posting, commenting, completing lessons, attending events, and helping others. Points → levels. Daily activity → streaks. Specific milestones → badges. All visible on leaderboards per-room and platform-wide.

How do I find new rooms to join?

Open /discover to browse rooms tailored to you. Filter by tier, topic, or activity. Joining is one click if your tier qualifies.

How do notifications work?

Three channels: in-app, email, push. Tune each one in Notification Settings. Some notifications are workflow-critical (billing, account security) and bypass your preferences.

How do referrals and affiliates work?

Every member has a referral code. Share it; when someone signs up using your code, you both get points. Affiliates earn $147 cash per paid signup with a 60-day cookie. Payouts via Stripe Connect once you onboard.
