How does the AI Coach work?
30-second answer
Each room has its own AI Coach trained on that room's posts, courses, and recordings. Open the coach panel from inside any room and ask a question. The coach cites sources and respects daily message limits.
Step-by-step
Opening the AI Coach
- Open a room you've joined
- Click the AI Coach icon in the room's top bar (or the floating sheet)
- Type a question — it can be about any course content, recording, or post in that room
How answers work
- The coach searches the room's content (RAG — retrieval-augmented generation)
- It returns an answer with citations — each source is a clickable link to the exact lesson, post, or recording chunk
- If it can't find a confident answer, it'll say so rather than guess
Tier and limits
- AI Coach access is included in Inner Circle and above
- Lower tiers see the coach panel but get an upgrade prompt
- There's a daily message limit per room — generous enough that most members never hit it
What it's good at
- "Where did the teacher cover topic X?"
- "Summarize the last 3 live classes"
- "What's the right approach for situation Y based on this room's content?"
What it's NOT for
- Generic Google-style questions (use ChatGPT for those)
- Personal advice — the coach knows the room, not you
- Anything outside the room's content
Things to know
- Each room's coach has its own knowledge base — the AI Junkies coach won't know what's in another teacher's room.
- Citations open the source content directly — use them to dig deeper.
