How do rooms work?

30-second answer

A room is a teacher's classroom: feed, courses, events, recordings, AI Coach, member roster — all scoped to that teacher. You join as many as your tier allows.

Step-by-step

Anatomy of a room

Each room has its own:

  • Feed — community posts (Phase 75: chat is now in the feed, not a separate channel)
  • Courses — the teacher's structured content
  • Events — live calendar with RSVP
  • Recordings — past live classes (Junkies Plus and above)
  • AI Coach — trained on the room's content (Inner Circle and above)
  • Members — directory of everyone in the room

Joining and leaving

  • Browse Discover → click Join
  • Leave from the room's Settings page
  • Leaving doesn't cancel your subscription — you can rejoin later

Room visibility

  • Public rooms — show in Discover, anyone at the right tier can join
  • Invitation rooms — invitation-only, won't show in Discover

Sidebar

Your joined rooms appear in the sidebar under My Rooms. The 5 most-recent are pinned; expand to see all.

Things to know

  • If a room is archived by the admin, it disappears from your sidebar and content goes read-only. Members are notified by email.
  • Some rooms have a higher tier requirement than the platform minimum — check the room badge.
