How do I join my first room?

Open Discover, pick a room (start with the AI Junkies flagship), click Join. You're in immediately if your tier qualifies; otherwise you'll see a tier upgrade prompt.

Step-by-step

Step 1: Browse Discover

Go to Discover. You'll see featured rooms, trending rooms, and rooms recommended based on your interests.

Step 2: Pick a room

Each room card shows:

The teacher's name and avatar
A brief description
The tier required to join
Member count + recent activity

The AI Junkies room is the flagship and where most new members start.

Step 3: Click Join

If your tier qualifies, you're in immediately — the room shows up in your sidebar under My Rooms, and you can start posting, RSVPing, and chatting right away.

If the room requires a higher tier, you'll see an upgrade prompt with the cheapest path to access.

Step 4: Read the room rules

Every room has a pinned Welcome post or a Code of Conduct. Read it before you post.

Things to know

Joining is free once you're at the right tier — the room itself doesn't charge an extra fee.
Some rooms are invitation-only. Those won't appear in Discover until a member invites you.
