How do I post in the feed?
30-second answer
Open a room, click New Post at the top of the feed, pick a category (Discussion, Question, Win, etc.), write your post in markdown, and submit. Some categories are teacher-only — you'll see them grayed out if you can't post there.

- Open a room you've joined
- Click New Post above the feed
- Pick a category — Discussion, Question, Win, Resource, etc. The categories vary per room
- Write your post. Markdown is supported —
**bold**,*italic*, code fences, lists - (Optional) Upload images or attach a link
- Click Post
Use the right category
- Question — you're asking, you want answers. Other members get notified.
- Discussion — you have a take, you want responses
- Win — you're celebrating something. Often awards points to commenters who congratulate
- Resource — you're sharing something useful
After posting
You'll see notifications when people react or comment. Reply to anyone who engages — that's the loop that keeps the feed alive.
Things to know
- Some categories are teacher-only (announcements, etc.) — that's by room design, not a bug.
- Posts can't be cross-posted to multiple rooms — write a fresh post per room if it's relevant in more than one.
