How do I report a problem with content or a member?
30-second answer
On any post, comment, or DM, click the three-dot menu and pick Report. Pick a reason, add context, submit. Reports go to the room's teacher and platform admins. You won't hear back unless action is taken or admins need more info.
Step-by-step
How to report
- Find the post, comment, or DM in question
- Click the ⋯ menu in the corner of the item
- Pick Report
- Choose a reason — spam, harassment, off-topic, illegal content, other
- (Optional) Add 1-2 sentences of context
- Submit
What happens next
- The report goes to the room's teacher AND to platform admins
- For severe issues (harassment, illegal content) admins act fast — usually same-day
- For minor issues (off-topic, mild spam) the teacher decides
- You won't get a status update by default — if action was taken, you'll see the content removed or the user gone
When to escalate
If a report sits for more than 48 hours and the issue is severe, submit a support ticket and reference the original report. Tickets get a response.
Confidentiality
Reports are confidential — the reported person doesn't see who filed.
Things to know
- Reporting a comment doesn't auto-mute the user — block them separately if needed.
- False or retaliatory reports can lead to your own account being flagged. Use this in good faith.
